FördeCamp #3 2023: Building Friendships Across Borders Through Foil Fencing

Dear Fencing Enthusiasts,

Get ready for an exciting weekend filled with fencing, camaraderie, and focused training at FördeCamp #3 in 2023! As the season kicks into high gear, there’s no better way to sharpen your skills than by engaging in a weekend of intense training with fencers from various clubs and even different countries. We are thrilled to announce that this year, we’ll have participants joining us from Denmark (Varde & Copenhagen), Hamburg Eilbeck, Kiel, and many more fencing communities!

Our primary aim for this event is to foster growth and improvement as an international team of athletes. Together, we’ll work towards achieving success in the middle and end of the season, all while keeping our eyes firmly on upcoming championships. At FördeCamp #3, our motto is „goal-oriented fun with fencing.“

Event Details:

Dates: Friday, December 1st – Sunday, December 3rd, 2023
Location: Sportzentrum Schrevenpark, Jahnstraße 8a, 24116 Kiel
Costs: Food expenses (to be settled after the event based on actual spending), T-shirt fee (€15, payable in advance)
Accommodation: Together in the venue (bring your sleeping bag!)
Program: See attached tournament equipment
Application: Fill out the provided form and complete the money transfer by November 1st, 2023 (first come, first served!)
Food: Delicious vegetarian meals will be provided by KMTV parents, and we’ll also enjoy some mouthwatering pizza during the event.

This year’s FördeCamp promises to be an incredible opportunity to connect with fellow fencers, exchange techniques, and strengthen the bonds that make the fencing community so special. Whether you’re an experienced fencer or new to the sport, you’ll find a welcoming and supportive atmosphere here.
